ODF & OOXML

There are two primary formats for office documents, OOXML and ODF. OOXML, associated with Microsoft Office, uses a ZIP container to package XML and other data files. It includes specific schemas for different types of documents such as WordprocessingML for word documents, SpreadsheetML for spreadsheets, and PresentationML for presentations.
