We can show intonation patterns by ‘drawing’ the tune in the air.

Teaching specific aspects of language

When students are concentrate on specific aspects of language, we explain the form and meaning of that language before asking for student repetition

The inductive approach

Instead of going from the rules to the examples, students see examples of language and try to work out the rules.

Students are given explanations or grammar rules, based on these they make phrases and sentences using the new language.
