How? Evaluation and monitoring tools should be determined once assessments and projects are established. They should be meaningful and appropriate to the learner's needs.

Project-Based Learning

When? In the first meeting, so there is time to think about where this fits with the mapping and curriculum, and time to research and plan different options to meet the needs of learners.
How? Begining with the end in mind, and determining what the standards expect the student to know and do. Design projects around that expectation that are engaging and relevent. Allow students to pose questions and desidng the project.
